Game of Thrones – record de premii Emmy

Un show antrenant şi presărat cu trimiteri la subiecte de actualitate din presa americană s-a desfășurat în această noapte la Microsoft Theater din Los Angeles. Cea de-a 67-a ediţie a Primetime Emmy Awards a răsplătit cele mai bune producţii de televiziune, iar serialul în jurul căruia s-au strâns cele mai multe premii a fost Game of Thrones.

Cu 12 statuete primite – printre altele pentru Cel mai bun serial-dramă, Cel mai bun actor în rol secundar (Peter Dinklage), Cel mai bun scenariu, Cel mai bun regizor – Game of Thrones a devenit producţia cu cele mai multe premii Emmy din istorie obţinute în acelaşi an.

La secțiunea de comedie, câştigător a fost serialul Veep, ce a luat premiul pentru Cel mai bun serial de comedie, Cea mai bună actriță (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Cel mai bun actor în rol secundar (Tony Hale), Cel mai bun scenariu.

Şi realizatorii miniseriei TV Olive Kitteridge au avut motive de bucurie. Producţia a luat premiul categoriei, dar şi cel pentru cei mai buni actori din rolurile principale: Frances McDormand şi Richard Jenkins.

Jon Hamm, actorul principal din Mad Men s-a ales – după cea de-a opta nominalizare succesivă – cu primul său premiu Emmy, iar protagonista din How to Get Away with Murder, Viola Davis, a devenit prima actriţă afro-americană premiată cu un Emmy la categoria Cea mai bună actriţă într-un serial-dramă.
