UNTOLD – the first „Pay with blood” festival

The UNTOLD Festival will take place in the city of Cluj Napoca, in the heart of Transylvania, Romania. The festival brings together for the first time on a Romanian stage 4 of the most beloved electro-dance music artists: AVICII, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren and DIMITRI VEGAS&LIKE MIKE. The stage will be taken over by 150 international artists, such as: WU-TANG CLAN, ATB, Fedde le Grande, Tinie Tempah, John  Newman,  Patrice,  Dj  Premier,  Aron Chupa,  Foreign  Beggars,  Wilkinson,  ANDYC, Tom  Odell,  John Digweed, Sharam, Nic Fanciulli, Satoshie Tomiie, Duke Dumont, Michael Calfan, Lost Frequencies, Gentleman and Gramatik.

The UNTOLD Festival, organized in association with the National Institute of Blood Transfusion (INTS), has launched the „Pay with Blood” national campaign, which is set to encourage blood donation in return for discounts or even free tickets to the 4-day music festival.

The location was not casually chosen, as Transylvania region is know to be the home of Dracula, a legend that has made Romania famous worldwide.

At the moment, Romania is next to last in the European Union regarding blood donation. Only 1,7% of the population is donating blood, and most of the donors do so only when they have to help a family member or a person very close to them.
